“I’ve attended several classes taught by Jacqueline and would highly recommend them. She does a fabulous job of teaching not just the intended subject but also sharing helpful techniques and tips. The classes are fun and informative. She’s passionate about what she teaches and a wealth of information. For the cooking classes, you get to see the step-by-step process of the recipe and taste the finished product. You go home with an amazing recipe to make for your family and improved cooking skills. Even though I’ve cooked for years and read multiple cookbooks and cooking magazines, I’m amazed how much I learn from her classes. “

“I recently attended Jackie Edmiston’s: ‘Preparing A Tree For Successful Transplant’ workshop last week on her property and was genuinely impressed with her. What I acquired from the workshop was more than what I expected. On arriving at her property where she holds her workshops, one can see that she clearly practices what she preaches… the 30 or so acres is a model of how to create a productive farming and gardening property out of a landscape of overgrown guinea grass. There are carefully cultivated areas of growing cacao and other native plants and trees scattered all over her farm. One can only imagine the amount of work she’s done to get it to where it is now; very impressive!! Her teaching skills are also impressive – she is ‘hands-on’ with demonstrating how to do the work, in this case, of taking a plant out of its pot and preparing it for planting in the ground. She answers questions willingly and seems to genuinely want to share her knowledge and skill with others… a sign of a good teacher. Her knowledge, enthusiasm and willingness to share was truly authentic. I know since I was in the teaching profession for over 20 years. I enjoyed everything about the workshop; her gracious and warm welcome, her tour of her property, her sharing of her tea that she grows on her property as well as her knowledge….. I was in a Master Gardener’s class with her not too long ago but her knowledge of gardening goes beyond just what we learned. She is the ‘real deal’ and in addition, her laughter and joy of life is infectious! I recommend her workshops to anyone that wants to learn about gardening or agriculture or how to grow plants in Hawaii. I don’t think you’ll regret it. I can’t wait to attend more of her workshops. She’s offering a series of workshops and classes, some on making desserts, others on Gardening and even a Pot Luck Movie night at her farm…”

“I had the pleasure of taking several classes recently with my friend Jaqueline. I enjoyed the first one so much, I couldn’t wait for the next one. Jaqui always uses the best ingredients! She is super knowledgeable, friendly and fun! She has helped me get out of my comfort zone when it comes to experimenting with new spices. Love her classes! Can’t wait for the next one.”
