Companion planting in my garden

Yarrow:

Planted with my Calabashes, cucumbers, lemon verbena, marjoram & oregano, melies, melons,  roses, tomatoes and winter savoury.

Leeks:

Planted with my Cabbages, caraway, carrots, celeriac, celery, lettuces and radishes

Onions:

Planted with Beetroots, cabbages, carrots, chamomile, around my fruit trees, kale, lettuces, peppers, around my rose bushes, spinach & swiss chard, strawberries, tomatoes and around my grape vines

Don’t plant near or around beans and peas.

Garlic:

Planted with my Beetroots, spinach & swiss chards, around my lemon trees and orange trees, roses and tomatoes.

Don’t plant near beans, peas, broccoli, cabbages and strawberries.

Chives:

Planted with my beans, beetroots, carrots, cucumbers, around my fruit trees, green peppers, lettuces, marrows/pumpkins & squashes, melons, near my roses and spinach.

Lemon verbena:

Planted with my vegetables and fruit trees.

Amaranth:

Planted near my Beetroots, mealies, onions, potatoes and sorghum.

Celery:

Planted with my African marigolds, beans, broccoli and cabbages, calendula, kohlrabi, land cress, leeks, pansies, parsley, spring onions and violas.

Asparagus:

In Winter I have cabbages, carrots, parsley and chervil in this bed.

In Summer I have beans, chervil, parsley and tomatoes.

Borage:

I have planted brinjals, cucumbers, marrows and pumpkins, strawberries and tomatoes with my borage.

Cabbages, brussel sprouts, kale and broccoli:

Beetroots, celery, chamomile, chives, dill, onions, rosemary, sage, southernwood, thyme and pennyroyal in between.
