In this children’s programme, we cover not only the important aspects of food gardening but also, for caring for our earth and her people. This course is guided by our Permaculture Ethics and Principles. Courses run during school terms.
Children are natural gardeners. They’re naturally curious, they learn by doing, and revel in having their fingers in the earth and watching something grow. They experience the satisfaction that comes from caring for something over time, while patiently observing the cycle of life firsthand. Gardening with our children is great way to teach environmental awareness by exploring the workings of nature.
This programme is aimed at children between the ages of 8 and 12.
